NY THE BASS FEDERATION HOSTS TBF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL TOURNAMENT ON LAKE CHAMPLAIN (TICONDEROGA NY)
June 15, Calcium NY… New York The Bass Federation (NYTBF) will hold The Bass Federation (TBF) National Championship Semi Final tournament for District 14 (PA, NY and Ontario) on October 15& 16 at Lake Champlain with Ticonderoga NY as the host community. The event marks the TBF’s first year of Semi-Final tournaments that qualify state champions (boaters and co-anglers) for the TBF National Championship where anglers compete for a Living the Dream prize package or a fully loaded Ranger bass boat. Many weekend warriors have used the TBF National Championship to launch successful professional bass fishing careers.
At this Semi-Final tournament we expect to see no less than 40-45 boats with 80-90 anglers and their families for Pennsylvania, New York and Ontario Canada converge on the historic town of Ticonderoga NY making this event truly an international competition. Anglers will have the option to explore the Ticonderoga area and south searching rocky shorelines and weed filled bays infested with largemouth bass or pilot their boats to the northern reaches of the lake in search of main lake shoals and humps loaded with smallmouth bass. Expect to see many five fish limits in excess of 20 lbs. with a lunker bass of either species pushing the 6 lb. range or better.
While in the area anglers and families can explore numerous attractions such as Fort Ticonderoga, Kings Garden, Knox Trail Memorial Park, Liberty Monument, Five Nations Golf, Ticonderoga Farmer’s Market, Ticonderoga Arts Gallery and nearby attraction include the Ausable Chasm, Adirondack Museum, Carillion Cruises, Gore Mountain and countless other Adirondack areas of interest within an hour’s drive of Ticonderoga NY.
